RSE chooses hotels that are close to the action. I paid extra for the single supplement so that I was guaranteed to have a private room. If you are a solo traveler you can choose NOT to pay extra and share with another solo traveler of the same gender. All of my rooms were of adequate size, clean and comfortable. I appreciated how close to the town center or public transportation they were. I received an email with the first and last hotel information early enough to book extra nights before and after the tour if desired. I did book the first hotel for a night before the tour started. This is a great idea because that gave me an extra day to explore wonderful Stockholm and to get over jet lag. It also allowed a buffer in case my flight was delayed. Then a week or so before the tour I received a full list of all of the hotels and a list of my tour mates.
